Megan Poindexter

Megan has been in the senior living industry for eight years. She says she has always wanted to be a nurse and has always enjoyed caring for people. She received her Registered Nursing degree from Neosha County Community College and a LPN degree from Cass Career Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. You’ll see Megan a lot when you reside here because her responsibilities include coordinating care…everything from individualized care plans and home health, to hospice care plans. She meets with residents and their families to make sure they get everything they need. She says her favorite part of her job is spending time with the residents. Megan lives on a farm in Drexel, Missouri. When she’s not working, she enjoys taking care of cattle, fishing, hunting, and camping with her family. Her co-workers consider her patient, caring and funny.
