Resident Spotlight: Tiffany Walter

Tiffany is always a breath of sunshine with her sunny disposition and ready laugh. She has lived at Lamar Court for three years.

She chose our assisted living community because she liked the residents who she says are “friendly, inviting and make you feel like family.”

Resident’s Background and Hobbies

Tiffany was born in Greeley, Colorado and moved to the Overland Park area when she was four after her dad was transferred here. She loves the location of Lamar Court because it is close to restaurants and Walmart.

Her hobbies include reading the Bible and watching movies and her favorite tv show, “Master Chef Junior.” She loves the painting and craft classes here. “I like to be creative, and it is relaxing to take classes,” she said.

Proudest Achievement

Tiffany is a Lamar Court Ambassador, and she encourages people to become residents. She says, “You won’t ever be alone, and there is always someone to talk to at our community.” She finds the team at Lamar Court compassionate and caring. Her proudest achievement? “My time as Miss Wheelchair Kansas 2016.”

The one thing Tiffany would like people to know about her? “I’m an overcomer and I have perseverance, all through the grace of God,” she said.
